Rematch

The MHSAA Selection Sunday Show just ended, and it was just announced that the Ann Arbor Pioneers would be hosting Temperance Bedford in the opening round of the playoffs.
Everyone remembers Bedford, right?
The team that defeated Pioneer in Week 5 and basically ended the team's chances of winning the SEC championship outright?
Well, now the Pioneers get a chance to even up the score against their conference rival.
And I don't think that there could be a better first opponent. First, the Pioneers get a chance to play a quality opponent. Bedford is a really good team, there is no doubt about that.
And secondly, the team gets to exact some revenge against a team that beat them earlier in the season. And this playoff game will be a little different from the Week 5 loss. For starters, the game will be played within the friendly confines of Hollway Field in Ann Arbor, rather than the isolated boondocks that the Kicking Mules call home.
So, earlier this season, Bedford destroyed Pioneer's hopes of winning the SEC outright and now, the Pioneers have a chance to oust the Mules from the playoffs and end their season.
How's that for some playoff drama?
